Tom Auther

For most of his 24 year real estate career Tom has specialized in the representation of tenants in metropolitan Phoenix. Tom has negotiated some of the largest leases in the area including 335,000 sq ft for Discover Card and 225,000 sq ft for Charles Schwab. Recent representation has included a 40,000 sq ft lease for a national law firm. Tom began his real estate career in 1981 at CB Richard Ellis (formerly CB Commercial Real Estate Group and Coldwell Banker). During his two decades with that company Tom’s diverse client base has included Morgan Stanley, Dean Witter, EDS, Clear Channel Communications, Smith Barney, Discover Card, Bowman and Brooke LLP, St. Paul Companies, Shamrock Foods and many other major corporations as well as numerous local companies.

Tom provides his clients with an in depth analysis of the various properties that would suit that client’s needs. Tom’s services include a detailed analysis of the cost of occupancy. His experience negotiating leases protects his clients from the many hidden costs contained in standard lease documents. Tom also has extensive experience analyzing the pros and cons of buying versus leasing.
